St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
The travel brochure described our tour as: "Take a scenic drive along one of the most breathtaking routes on St. Thomas. Much of the island's beauty lies in its endless undulating hills spilling down to the stunning bays..."
They did offer a couple of places for selfies playing off the Pirates of the Caribbean theme.
This was the "great" scenic view they offered from the back of the store. Only a balloon pilot could get excited about the cumulonimbus cloud dumping rain into the bay!
Jan made good use of her time here.
I don't remember this character in the Pirates of the Caribbean. Maybe I should watch it again.
As you have probably observed, I didn't take many photos at St. Thomas, and I don't expect National Geographic will be calling about the ones I have posted. We hope tomorrow's weather will be better in San Juan. On days like this, we remind ourselves that we are travelers, not tourists. We make the best out of what the day has given us, good or bad!
All that may have been true if it wasn't raining. Our local guide driving us in the open air taxi made frequent stops but no one wanted to get out to take in the view in the rain. Thank goodness though, the temperature was 85º.
Finally we reached the Mountain Top, no, not the highest point on the island, a tourist trap with a great view on a clear day. Their claim to fame was lots of tourist "stuff" and the worlds best banana daiquiri. (They didn't offer free samples like other tourist stops, they asked $7.00 for their small "world famous" daiquiri.)

ReplyDeleteExcept that said win is usually less than value of|the price of} the four performs it took to get it. At least find a way to|you possibly can} gamble for an opportunity to get on the board. 카지노사이트 Do you try to maintain two red sevens after which get killed on the first mystery square? It will probably only provide holds twice, and you missed out on two possible minor wins. Of course, if you DON'T maintain when provided, it's going to taunt you by spinning in the third seven on function.
