Day One - Greenwich, UK
In spite of departure delays, we arrived at London only 10 minutes late. From the airport, we traveled by bus for 90 minutes to reach Greenwich where our ship was moored in the middle of the Thames River. Our bus trip wondered through back streets of London because of a full day of protests by citizens over Brexit. After unpacking we walked a few blocks to the Greenwich Market. What a great place! Artists, craftsmen and food vendors filled a square block area creating a festive atmosphere. Of course Jan found something she liked. On the street outside the market, a "milkman" delivered milk to a local restaurant. Notice the refrigerated delivery vehicle. Not only that, but the milk containers were all recyclable heavy plastic.
